Obituary for Cheryl Davezan Beverly

Cheryl Davezan Beverly, 70 of Pulaski returned to her heavenly home on April 1, 2019.

Her devotion to her family, and her faith in God ultimately gave her peace during her transition. She was born to parents Sidney and Billie-Joyce Davezan in Deridder, Louisiana on Dec. 8, 1948.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Tracey Davezan and her brother, D’Anthony Davezan Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband, James, her daughter, Cara (Glen), sons, Perry (Melissa) and William (Renata), her grandchildren, Tré, Maria, Jazlyn, Zavion, Isis and Miah, her brothers Terry Davezan of Warner Robins, Ga. and Glenn Davezan (Hazel) of Perry, Ga., a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m. from the First Baptist Church on Magazine Street in Pulaski. A viewing will be held on April 5 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service at Pinehurst Cemetery, Pulaski. Rev. Doug Patterson will be in charge of the service.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make charitable contributions to the revitalization of the T.G. Howard Community Center.
