Obituary for Dorothy Ann Waller Tench
‘Most Dear To Them That Love Her’
Dorothy Ann Waller Tench, 89, of Dublin, Va., passed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born in High Point, NC, on April 25th, 1930 to the late Roy Walter Waller and Nannie Mae Chrisley Waller.
She was a 1951 graduate of Stuart Circle School of Nursing in Richmond, Va. That same year she married the love of her life, George Ellsworth Tench, Jr., who proceeded her in death on December 23rd, 2011. She was a loving and cherished mother to 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Jenny Shepherd and husband Jerry, son Mike Tench and wife Pam, son Neal Tench and wife Lisa, daughter Ann Lawson and husband Daniel, and special friend and caregiver Sue Tolbert.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday September 10th at Shiloh Christian Church, from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 11th at 11am.at the church, with Pastor Gary Rorrer officiating .Burial to follow at the Larew Cemetary. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski Va.

So sorry to hear this. She was a great friend to Sam and I. We loved your mom and dad and had so much fun square dancing with them.
