Obituary for Dorothy Maxwell Lindsey

Dorothy Maxwell Lindsey, age 89 of Pulaski, died Friday September 6, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on April 10, 1930 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Annie Sirt Maxwell and Henry Mike Maxwell.  Dorothy was a dedicated Christian in her Pentecostal faith, having been a long-time member of the Pentecostal Church of God.  Dorothy’s life was surrounded by a very large and loving family of brothers and sisters.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Ralph Lindsey, a daughter, Sarah Kathryn Lindsey, a granddaughter, Erica Lynn Farris, brother’s, John and Houston Maxwell, and sisters, Daisy McPeak and Mary Headley.  She is survived by a daughter, Dee Ann Lindsey:  brothers; Edward Maxwell (Wanda), Raymond “Chuck” Maxwell (Karen), and George Maxwell (Wanda):  sisters; Callie Edwards, Jane Boleman, and Katie Lindsey:  a sister-in-law, Janie Howlett Maxwell: two great grandchildren; Brandon Tyler Farris and Sylvia Kathryn “Carlie” Gonzales, and three great-great grandchildren.  A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. George Maxwell officiating.  The family will receive friends at Seagle Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. and then family and friends will proceed to the cemetery.  Dorothy loved flowers, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in her memory, to their charity of choice.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.seaglefuneralhome.com  Arrangements by Seagle Funeral Home, Pulaski.
