Obituary for Elvaree Frances Crigger Bratton (Elva)
Our mother, Elvaree Frances Crigger Bratton (Elva), of Dublin, VA departed this life to her eternal home on Friday, May 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pulaski Co. on May 31, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Walter Everett Crigger and Edith Gregory Crigger. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Duaine and Stanley Crigger and by a son, Gary Wayne Bratton.
Surviving are:
Brother – J.W. Crigger (Francie)
Sister – Lois C. O’Dell
Daughters – Doris Glass (Kyle)
Pam Witte (Steve)
Son – Darrell Bratton (Pam)
Seven Grandchildren
Ten Great-Grandchildren
Three Great-Great-Grandchildren
In life, our mother made many sacrifices to care for everyone that she loved. She attended Pulaski Church of Christ faithfully for many years.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15th at Noon from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Canup, a life-long friend and pastor, officiating. Visiting will be at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from ll:00 AM until the service hour. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Burleigh Horton Rd., Draper, VA.

She was always such a beautiful lady ….. so very wonderful, loving and kind. Have such sweet memories of her. 🌈 Love and peace sweet aunt. You will be loved and missed.

So sorry for your loss Darrell, Doris and Pam. I had not seen her in many many years but always made a point to say hello when I did. Such fond memories of when we would come by and visit and play when you lived in Salem.
