Obituary for Fleta Hayes Hagee
Fleta Hayes Hagee, 83, of Dublin, Va., died Friday, December 11, 2020, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
She was born March 12, 1937, in Smyth County, the daughter of the late John Arnold Hayes & Susie Emmaline Blevins Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rae Hagee, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Donald Rae Hagee Jr. and Jean Wright; daughter, Mary Catherine Hagee; brothers, Benny Isaac Hayes and John Earl Hayes; son-in-law, Gary Jennings.
Mrs. Hagee was a member of the New River Baptist Temple and was a retired employee of WalMart.
Survivors are her daughter Susan Jennings of Roanoke, VA; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Ginny Hagee of Pulaski, VA; sister Margaret Powers of Dublin, VA; brother Jimmy Hayes of Unionville, VA; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Va. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Sending condolences to Fleta’s family. She was one of the sweetest christian ladies that ever lived. I worked with Fleta for years and she brought me so much laughter. I love you sweet Fleta I will see you soon in heaven.
