Obituary for Ida Coleen Wyrick Montgomery
Ida Coleen Wyrick Montgomery received her perfect healing on September 9, 2019, when she left this world and ran into the arms of our Heavenly Father. Coleen was born March 15, 1937 to Carl Wagner Wyrick and Lorena Cressell Wyrick.
Preceding her in death were her brothers Alvin, Rufus and Buck Wyrick and her sister Cotton Wyrick Price.
Left to cherish her memory was, the love of her life and father of her children, Arlin “Wimpy” Wesley Montgomery; Her sons, Arlin Wayne and Karen Montgomery, Dublin, Kenneth Wesley Montgomery & Regina Southard, Fairlawn, Russell Lee and Sissy Montgomery, Dublin; Her daughter, Susan Montgomery and Richard Long, Pembroke.
Grandchildren: Tracy Jones, Zach Queen, Tabitha Johnson, Brandy Croy, Wes Montgomery, Pam Padgett, Brad Montgomery, Brooke Montgomery, Parker Page, Casey McCambridge, Carlie Long and Chad Long.
Great Grandchildren: Breanna St. Clair, Bradey Woody, Spencer & Cole Jones, Max & Eli Johnson, Genevieve & Rayna Queen, Hannah and Brandon Croy, Emily & Natalie Hardymon, Nathan Viar, Ella Padgett and Hope Montgomery.
Sisters: Patsy Sifford, Fairlawn, Ilene Montgomery, Dublin, Jean Bragenzer, Fairlawn.
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Parrott Church of God on Friday, September 13th at noon. Officiating the service will be Brother Kenneth Alley, Brother C. Edward Dalton and Brother Bonds. Visitation with family will take place at 11am and until the time of the service. Interment will immediately follow in Hickman Cemetery.
The family would especially like to thank Carlie, Chad, Susie and Richard Long for the precious care and love they gave Nanny during her last years; the Carilion Hospice Nurses; Mandy Eastridge for always lending a helping hand; and Mr. and Mrs. Sizemore for their tender care of Ms. Colleen as they took her for her last ride across the mountain.

Nanny you were such a wonderful woman, a great friend, and the best patient anyone could ever have. Alot of people including myself and rebecca will miss you so much. You and your family became very close to us. Im sooo very thankful for all the precious memories that god gave me with you.. all the laughs… all the times of painting your nails.. all the great many times we shared. You will always have a piece of my heart as well as your family. Chad you are the best friend anyone could have im so grateful for you and carlie and all of the family.if any of you guys need anything please let us know. Im so very sorry.
