Obituary for Iva Jewell Black Shufflebarger

Iva Jewell Black Shufflebarger, age 90 of Princeton, West Virginia and formerly of Pulaski passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia. Born November 13, 1931 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Elbert G. Black & Kitty Lou Meredith Black. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lyle David Shufflebarger, brothers, Douglas C. “Dee” Black, Elbert Giboney “JR” Black, Charles “Zack” Black and sisters, Isabel Akers, Shirley Underwood and Sarah “Tip” Quillen.

She is survived by her 

Daughters – Sherri Lea Langelier – Pulaski, Kim Elaine (Ray) Polly – AZ

GrandchildrenChasidy (Rick) Erickson, Bryan (Carmella) Troupe, Deanna (Brian) Norsworthy, Aaron (Tori) Polly and Adam (Ericka) Polly 

17 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM – Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Jim Linkous & Pastor Randall Lawrence officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time Thursday at the Funeral Home.
