Obituary for James Charlie Carr
James Charlie Carr, 80, of Dublin, formerly of Round Hill, passed away at his home on October 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie M. Carr Mary Webb Carr Lineback; a sister, Pearl Horton; daughters Tammy Lynn Carr Hoover and Julia Carr Grubb; and a son, James Charlie Carr, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra Lang Carr; sons and daughter-in-law, Gene Carr (Kristie) and Timothy Carr; daughter, Faith Carr; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Carr(Pat); sisters and brother-in-law, Karen Folgelman (Jim) and Helen Guynn; his father-in-law, Charles Lyon (Joyce); and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, VA.
The Carr family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.

jimmy was a wonderful friend a great person. i lost track of him many years ago but often thought of him. i will greatly miss him.
