Joe Hambrick Covey, age 84 of Pulaski, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. He was born on December 11, 1933 in Snowville, and was the son of the late Martha Dot Hambrick Covey and Ray R. Covey. He was retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his family he was preceded in death by two sons; Joe Douglas Covey, and Bradley Covey: two brothers; Ellis Covey and Ray R. Covey,: and a sister; Grace Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Hazel Dalton Covey: two sons; Dwight (Deby) Covey, and Winfield “Winky” (Dreama) Covey: daughter; Sandra Merica: stepson: Gary (Trish) Cregger; two step-daughters; Janet (Donald) Gregory and Leesa Quesenberry: one sister; Martha Dot Vanmeter, along with thirteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kelly Howlett officiating. Interment will follow in Thornspring cemetery with military honors.
