John Clarkson Williams (January 12, 1961 – January 9, 2023) John Williams, age 61 of Shiloh, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at his family’s home. Born January 12, 1961 in Indiana, he was the son of the late Bill and Vera Williams. John was a beloved son, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a faithful member of Faith Bible Church where he brought joy to all with his hugs, handshakes and enthusiastic hymn singing – especially I’ll Fly Away. John also enjoyed bowling, dancing, cheering for the Colts, and going out to eat with family and friends. He looked forward to attending Goodwill Day Support everyday where he had numerous friends and was very loved. Anyone that was blessed to know John can attest that he was always happy and had a smile on his face.

He is survived locally by his only remaining aunt Rosie Wills and her husband Bill; special caregiver and “my best cousin” Annette Boothe and her husband Bobby. He also leaves behind numerous other cousins including Alicia Cooper (Trea and Archer); Luke Boothe (Leah Nichols); Nate, Emme, Sadie, and Ian Wills, Jay Williams; and many others. He will be greatly missed by all his special friends and church family.

Funeral services will be held at Seagle Funeral Home in Pulaski on Tuesday, January 17 at 2pm with Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Dishon Cemetery in Snowville. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to Faith Bible Church at 110 Lagrange Street, Pulaski Virginia 24301 or Goodwill Discovery Service Day Support Program at 103 Duncan Lane, Radford Virginia 24141.
