Obituary for Joyce Edwards Ward

Joyce Edwards Ward, 82 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, September 1st, 2019 at the home of her daughter Melissa Phillips. Joyce was born in Sparta, NC. She was the daughter of Clarence Edwards and Mae Bourne.

Joyce was preceded by her husband George Ward. She is survived by Linda Ward of Marion, James and Ellen Ward of Draper, Melissa and Jeff Phillips of Dublin, and Randy Ward of Dublin. Sisters Ruth Katz of Phoenixville, PA, and Nancy Parks of Rocky Mount, as well as brother Roy Bourne Jr of Clemons NC. Eight grandchildren, Jason Hoover, Brooklyn Hoover, Julie Worrell, Jacob Ward, Travis Martin, Lauren Dunford, Jimmy Bowers, and Kevin Bunn. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on September 6^th from 10a.m. until 11a.m. with the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. September 6^th at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Becky Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery in Draper. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski.
