A few years back, Richard Clark and I rode over and visited Lewis a few hours. We talked about our times when we worked at Volvo Trucks. Lewis showed us the cars he was restoring and had one car positioned on the porch to his house. It was a good afternoon. I won’t forget. Condolences to Lewis family. Warren Spradlin

Warren,
Eddie King told me about the car on the porch! I had planned to go see Lewis, I made it a point to call him about twice a year. Always enjoyed talking to my “little buddy”. He is and will always be a good memory of my career at Volvo.

Louie was part of our extended family. He was my fun loving “uncle” who farmed with us and taught my brothers and I a lot about life during our younger years. I was able to text with him in recent months but just learned of his death. Farewell to a friend, a hero, a man who helped countless people and made this world a better place.
