Obituary for Maggie Lucinda Lawson Sayers
Maggie Lucinda Lawson Sayers, age 86 of Draper, died Sunday December 13, 2020 at The Carrington Place in Wytheville. She was born on July 11, 1934 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Magdalene Reynolds Lawson and Ernest Lawson. Mrs. Sayers was retired from the Dietary Department at Pulaski Community Hospital with over 30 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harrell Calvin Sayers: brothers Sam, Henry, and William, and a sister, Edna Alexander. She is survived by her sons: Paul Calvin (Mary) Sayers of Pulaski, and Harold Cecil (Roslyn) Sayers of Pulaski: sister; Margaret and Porter Viars: grandchildren; Alison Sayers, Brandyn Sayers, Nathan Sayers, Jacob Hall, and Josh and Kateleen: great-grandchildren; Adam Hall, Isaac Hall: many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Christian Church Cemetery in Draper. There will be no public visitation.

I am sorry to hear about Maggie’s passing. I worked with Maggie for several years in the dietary department at Pulaski Community Hospital. She was quiet and always had a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
