Obituary for Mark Lewis Hubble
Mark Lewis Hubble, 62, of Dublin, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and retired from the U. S. Dept. of the Army. Before his illness, he was an active member of the CMA and Patriot Guard. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Peggy Taylor Hubble.
Survivors include his wife of almost 43 years, Peggy Hubble of Dublin; son, Jeff Hubble of Richmond; daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Joe Elliott of Radford, and Joanna and Darren Epperly of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Brock Lewis, James Reddic Epperly and Mila Marie Elliott; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer H. and Robert Brashear of Williamstown, W. Va.; and sister-in-law and her husband, Eva and Paul Shankle of Palm Bay, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mike Blouse officiating. Interment with full military honors will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
Mark was an avid VA Tech fan and motorcycle enthusiaist, so in his honor we ask that you come attired in your favorite Tech, motorcycle or military clothing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association or to the Wounded Warriors.

Peggy, I am still in a state of shock. I know the loss is overwhelming and I will not tell you that it gets easier, with God’s help it becomes bearable. You have been in my constant thoughts and prayers.
