Obituary for Mary Jane Crosier

DUBLIN, VA – Mary Jane Crosier, age 84, of Dublin, VA, died Friday, July 14, 2023, at her home with her four children by her side. Born March 24, 1939, in Monroe County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Eliza Masters Wickline.

Mary was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford, VA. She had several jobs in her lifetime, but she is most remembered as a loving babysitter for numerous years. She was employed by Walmart in Dublin and was a cashier for Wades in Dublin and Radford for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Crosier; and brother, James Wickline. Survivors include her children, Tony Crosier of the home, Mike Crosier and wife Julia of Dublin, VA, Debbie Harless and husband Ron of Dublin, VA, and Sherry Ferguson and husband Brian of Boones Mill, VA; and five grandchildren, Derek, Jonathan, Zachary, Jenny, and Tyler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
