A day of terrible loss. Our Church [White Oak Ministries] First Lady Sister Rebecca Rupe obeyed the Lords calling and went to heaven. She was a lighthouse of our church working many jobs behind the scenes, a strong pillar to Pastor Rupe and the children. She ran the race God had given her and it did please the Lord to call her Home. The future may hold uncertainities and sadness but we as a child of God hold a blessed assurance that we will see her soon.
We are holding the Rupe and Rorrer familes in our prayers for divine comfort and peace.

My dear friend……I think about the event when we first met and of course it was Lonnie and Janette’s youth camp. It was my first year as working as cabin leader and I just finished a disastrous cabin devotion….you caught me crying as I was so disappointed in myself and you ask if you could help. I had never met anyone so passionate about children…..you prayed for me then and there and we were friends forever. I loved your contagious joy, and positive attitude about situations and people. I loved your giving spirit and never expecting anything in return…. l love you, will miss you terribly, but will continue to pursue God in all I do……we will see you soon.

We are grateful and thankful to have been blessed to know such an inspiring woman of God. Her joy was contagious! We can only imagine the joy she is experiencing in the presence of The Lord. Our prayers are with you, Rupe family, as you hold on to the good memories and celebrate her life… awaiting the trumpet’s call and the reunion with her in heaven. As Nehemiah said, “The joy of Jehovah is our stronghold!” We love you!
