Obituary for Ricky Allen Stover

Ricky Allen Stover, age 53 of Dublin, died Thursday morning, March 7, 2019.  He was born on May 25, 1965 in Christiansburg, and was the son of the late Doris Ward Stover and James Robert Stover.  Ricky worked for many years as a welder Volvo in Dublin, and was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife; Tammie Tallant Stover of Dublin:  son; Christopher Henley of Radford:  daughter;  Crystal Freeman of Christiansburg:  brothers; Stephen Stover of MD, and Jason Toler of KA: sisters; Ruth (Tim) Cox of Dublin, and Patty Gianzanti of PA:  grandsons; Joshua Whitaker, and Jaxon Taylor and one granddaughter, Kayleigh Freeman:  brother-in-laws; Timmy (Jennifer) Tallant of Hillsville, and Jimmy Tallant of Dublin, and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Handshew officiating.  Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.  Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in Ricky’s name to the A.L.S. Foundation.
