Ronda Gail Ayers Dalton age 49
Oct 21, 1969 – June 8, 2019
Preceded in death by grandparents Bus and Stella Ayers, and Manly Moore Sandy.
Survived by daughter, Chris Dalton, and son Justin Dalton and wife A’me.
Parents, Frank and Gail Ayers, Sister, Lynett Cruise and husband Tommy, Niece, Lauren and Nephew Andrew, and Niece Jerri Abdelaziz all of Pulaski
Grandmother, Lois Sandy of Oak Island NC.
Boyfriend and favorite adventure partner, Pete Joyce and 4 legged companion Loki
Ronda was an employed at Dublin Elementary School for 12 years as a teacher where she touched so many young lives. She loved hiking, time on the water and spending her summers at the beach. She had an infectious smile and energetic personality. She will be missed by many.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 14th, from 5-7 pm at Dublin Baptist Church and memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to the Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program by sending donation to Oak Island Friends of Parks Donations and note on memo line for the sea turtle program at 3003 East Oak Island Dr. Oak Island NC 28465.

Gail and Frank, I’m so shocked and sorry for you all right now. I don’t think God ever intended for parents to bury their children, but sometimes He changes His mind. My prayers are for your understanding and peace during this most difficult time! I’m out of town or I would be there for you. Love to you all!

I am so very sorry for your loss , Rhonda was my favorite elementary school teacher when I was a kid! Prayers for your family. She will be missed dearly.

My heart goes out to the family and friends. Ronda and I met when we were 14 on Long Beach NC, kept in touch over the years through Facebook. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and all friends.
