Obituary for Sandra ‘Sandy’ Arnold Ingram
Sandra ‘Sandy’ Arnold Ingram – Carencro, LA – passed peacefully away on March 3rd, 2023 after fighting to overcome a stroke and brain bleed.
Sandy was born July 13, 1959, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James R. & Mary C. Arnold. She graduated class of 1977 from Fort Chiswell High School, Max Meadows, VA. She continued her education by attending and graduating from Wytheville Community College with a degree in Phlebotomy. She was employed by Pulaski Community Hospital. Continuing her education, she graduated with her Masters of Business Management and Administration through Old Dominion University in 1994. Sandy moved to Lafayette, Louisiana in 1999 continuing her employment with HCA hospitals, which was employed for 39 years. Her recent place of employment was at Lady of our Lourdes Women’s and Children’s hospital of Lafayette, LA.
Sandy is survived by
Millie the Chihuahua and Finn the Great Pyrenees (being taken care of by family).

Special gratitude and love are extended to her Louisiana Family. We are eternally gratefully for their love and friendship of. Her work family meant the world to her. We knew them because she always shared about them because she loved them so much especially Sammy Urbina and Jerald Auzenne. Her neighbors were her extended family. An expression of gratitude goes to Angie and Clyde Blanchard and family, Ann and Linus Cortez, as well as her Cajun Buddy, Kevin and Sherry Douga. Special appreciation and love goes to Tommy and Gina Dickens of Houston, Texas. They assisted the family during Sandy’s stay at TIRR’s Brain Injury rehab. Tommy and Gina attended high school with Sandy and were lifelong friends.
A special memorial was already given in Sandy’s memory in Lafayette, LA. A private service will be held in Pulaski, VA at a later date. If you would like to celebrate Sandy’s life and her memory, please give a donation to an animal rescue. Sandy was a huge proponent and passionate for dog rescue over the years.
