Obituary for Shirley Frances Hale Hurd

Shirley Frances Hale Hurd of Pulaski died on Thursday, February 16, 2023, peacefully at her home. Born on February 7, 1939, to her parents, Robert D. Hale and Margarette Ann Lucas Hale, who preceded her in death with several brothers and sisters.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Harold Dean Hurd.

Shirley is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hurd Nunn of Dublin, and her husband Benny.

Also left to cherish her legacy is her granddaughter, Jessica Ann Fowlkes and two great grandchildren, Cody Lewis Phillips, and Cameron Scott Anderson.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 11:00 in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
