Obituary for Shirley Mae Croteau
Shirley Mae Croteau, age 77 of Dublin passed away Monday evening April 18, 2022 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born January 23, 1945 in Alexandria, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Walter A. Clarke & Lillian Tingler Clarke. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Richard P. Croteau, daughter, Sandra Cerritos, three sisters and five brothers.
Shirley loved the Lord and was very faithful to the end. She was a special mother, grandmother and talented artist.
She is survived by her
Children – Richard P. Croteau, Jr. – Snowville, Sharlene M. Croteau – Alexandria, Corrina Akers – Dublin, John (Jeanette) Croteau – Snowville

Special Nieces – Tina Fewell, Chandra Smith and many other loved nieces and nephews

I am so sorry for the loss of Shirley. She was a wonderful and kind person, whose gifts of giving were limitless. Everyone who met her was blessed by her spirit of love, hope and encouragement. Shirley often stretched her own resources to help others. May you be blessed by the legacy of this dear christian lady and may your memories of her bring you peace and comfort.
