Obituary for Stephen Gilbert Earhart

Stephen Gilbert Earhart, age 75 of Pulaski passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at the VA Medical Center, Salem. Born April 29, 1947 in Pulaski, he is the son of Eloise Long Earhart Marshall and the late Garland Ewing Earhart, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Earhart, mother-in-law, Ethel Easter, daughter, Colett Xan Easter, and brother, Garland Ewing Earhart, Jr.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served four years. He was a member of the American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans and Vietnam Veterans of America.

He was past employee of the Pulaski Police Department.  Steve was a Master mason with the Henry Clay Lodge #280, Dublin, Virginia and he was a Knight with the NRV Commandry #32, Knights Templar, in Christiansburg. He was also an ordained minister.

Daughter – Betsy Renae Earhart – Barren Springs

Mother – Eloise Long Earhart Marshall – Pulaski

Grandchildren – Stephanie Dawn Earhart, Charles Wesley (Robyn) Earhart, Stephen Gilbert Earhart, III and Heather Renae Earhart

Great Grandchildren – Phoenix Alexandria Hartman, James Howard Bishop, Charles Robert Earhart and Atticus Wesley Earhart

Special friends – Greg & Maricca Piper

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 A.M. November 3, 2022 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family will receive friend Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at the Salem VA Medical Center for their excellent care.
