Obituary for Walter Glenn Kennedy

Walter Glenn Kennedy, age 78 of Dublin passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at his home. Born August 29, 1944 he was the son of the late Jesse Estel Kennedy, Sr. & Ruby Ellen McFarland Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Ann Kennedy, daughter, Marquita Lynn Kennedy-Eaves and sister, Barbara Hardin.

Walter was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Pulaski Furniture for many, many years.

He is survived by his

Son – Robert Kennedy – Dublin

Grandchildren – Cari Kennedy – Dublin, Dewey Eads – Pulaski (Tiny Town)

Great Grandchildren – Evelyn Kennedy, Leah Kennedy

Brothers – Jesse (Janet) Kennedy, Jr. – Rocky Gap, Ace Calvin (Rose) Kennedy – Rural Retreat

Sister – Ruth (Winfred) Keene – Pulaski

Funeral services were held Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Winfred Keene officiating.
