Obituary for Willie Ellen Ogle Thomas Edmonds

Willie Ellen Ogle Thomas Edmonds, age 87 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at her home. Born February 28, 1932 in Wythe County she was the daughter of the late Willie Brooks Ogle & Henrietta Reynolds Ogle. Her first husband, Bill Munday Thomas, second husband, Paul E. Edmonds and sisters, Marjorie Ogle Spencer and Sue Stutts also preceded her in death.

Willie was a member of the Dora Highway Baptist Church. She loved to sew, crochet, cook, gardening and growing flowers. She also loved gospel music and sang with her own group “The Pilgrim’s” for several years.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM – Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  at the funeral home.
