PC Schools name Grant new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
Dr. Tara Grant who has been named the new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in Pulaski County Public Schools (PCPS). Dr. Grant comes to PCPS from just over the bridge in the Radford City School Division where she spent 4 years as the principal of Belle Heth Elementary, 1 year as the principal of Belle Heth and McHarg Elementary as well as Division Director of Testing and two years as the principal of Radford High School.
Dr. Grant is a graduate of Radford High School. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from James Madison University in Public Relations, a Master’s of Science from Radford University in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s of Science from Radford University in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership also from Radford University.
Dr. Grant is married to Mike Grant, Head Men’s Golf Coach at Radford University. They have three children, Haley Smith, Jake Grant and Thomas Grant. In her spare time, Dr. Grant enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
