PH takes control early in win over PCHS
The Patrick Henry boys basketball team took control of things early in Salem last evening, and pulled away early for a 72-51 victory over Pulaski County. The Cougar boys fell to 7-10 on the season while PH moved to 13-3.
The Patriots jumped out to quick 21-8 first quarter lead, and were up big at the half, 35-15. Haydon Gray led the Cougars in scoring with 23 points and J.J. Gulley added 16. But the rest of the team could combine for just 12 points. Andre Palmer with 19 and Ford Beasley with 14 led PH, but the Patriots also had four other players with seven or more points.
