Pulaski and Radford Republicans Endorse Kirk Cox for Governor

RICHMOND, VA. — Pulaski County and Radford City elected Republicans announced their endorsements for  Kirk Cox for Governor today.

“I am honored to proclaim my support for Kirk as he seeks to become the next Governor of Virginia! He brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership with over 30 years serving our great Commonwealth as a State Delegate. During his decades of service, Kirk has ardently fought for three issues that are near and dear to my heart: veterans’ rights, economic development, and education. We deserve a Governor who will fight for the conservative principles that make the Commonwealth of Virginia an amazing place to live, raise a family, and work. I am confident that Kirk Cox is the best candidate for this task and for this reason I would hope that you would join me in supporting Kirk in his bid to become our next Governor!” said Radford City Councilman Onassis D. Burress.

“Kirk has the experience and the values we are looking for in a Governor. He is a proven leader who will work for us to get things done,” said Pulaski Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Joe Guthrie.

Pulaski County Supervisor Laura Walters added, “I am very impressed with Kirk. He is clearly the best choice and I’ll be proud to vote for him.”

“Kirk can take on Terry McAuliffe and the Democrats and win in November,” said Pulaski County Supervisor Dick Compton.

“I’m excited to have these incredible Pulaski County and Radford City leaders join our team as we all work to unify our party to put an end to one-party control in Richmond,” said Cox. “With their help, we will prove to show Terry McAuliffe and the Democrats’ that Virginians want real leadership, not continued mismanagement.”

These Virginia Republicans join a rapidly expanding list of over 500 conservative elected and grassroots leaders, including Governor George Allen and former First Lady Susan Allen, Governor Bob McDonnell, Congressman Morgan Griffith, Congressman Tom Davis and State Senator Jeannemarie Davis, State Senator Bill Carrico, Congressman Randy Forbes and Shirley Forbes, and Bobbie Kilberg, all of whom know that Kirk is the best candidate to lead us to victory and serve as the 74th Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
