Pulaski Co. girls dominate, 64-40

     The Pulaski County girls basketball team elevated its record to 5-5 Friday evening in the “Twyla Showalter Invitational” at Spotswood High with a big, 64-40 victory over Wilson Memorial.
      The Cougars jumped to a quick 11-point, 25-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and continued to roll in the second and led by 22, 42-20 at the half. With players seeing plenty of action the Cougar girls coasted home the second half.
     The Pulaski Co. scoring effort was led by Keslyn Secrist with 15 points, her season high. She got plenty of help from Ally Fleenor with 13, Taryn Blankenship got her season high with eight, Maddie Ratcliff got seven, and Alaina Akers scored six.
