Pulaski County boys beat Carroll in tennis, 7-2
Pulaski County’s boys tennis team defeated Carroll County last week, 7-2 in Hillsville.
The Cougars took five of the six singles matches enroute to the victory.
Singles matches went this way for Pulaski County:
Camden Hite won 8-4 at No. 1.
- Aaron Bennett won, 8-3
- Mark Graham won, 8-2
- Eli Duke won, 8-2
- Zach Gallimore won, 8-0
The Cougars’ lone loss in singles was at No. 2 as Xander Pratt fell in a close in, 6-8
In doubles:
- Camden/Mark lost, 5-8
- Aaron/Xander won, 8-0
- Zach/Colin Hall won, 8-1
“Our top player (Camden Hite) is 2-0 and four new starters are already winning matches this season,” noted head coach Chad Graham.
Pulaski County’s next match is Tuesday in Dublin against Christiansburg.
