Pulaski County Friends of the Library to Host May 3rd and 4th Book Sale

Please join the Pulaski County Friends of the Library (FOL) as they continue their spring specials with their May “Spring Cleaning” book sale.  The two-day sale will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 4rd and 5th at their Book Sale Store in downtown Pulaski, across the street from the Pulaski Library.  Watch for the large bookstore sign!

We have a number of great cookbooks for your reading (and cooking) pleasure.  Three cookbooks for the price of two!!  Get ready for your summer cookouts!

Hundreds of good used books, hardback, paperback, and children editions are available for sale.  Most hardback books sell for only $1 each, with paperback books for $.50 and most children’s books for $.25 each or less.  Most all of your favorite authors are available for purchase.

Many new unsold books of local Radford author, the late Jess Carr, will be available for free distribution for each used book purchased.

The Friday sale will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The Friends of the Library are a non-profit community organization whose main purpose is to support the many activities and programs of the Pulaski County Library System.  Through the sale of used books, donated to the Friends, they are able to provide valuable financial assistance to the library system, such as the summer reading program and professional staff development.

For additional information on the book sale or for an opportunity to donate your books, please contact Lance Hudnall, President and book sale coordinator at (276) 728-4626.
