Pulaski County offices will be closed Monday
ATTENTION – A Message from the County Administrator:
Please be advised of the following notice for Monday, January 26, 2026, regarding the status of County offices and operations:
Out of an abundance of caution and in preparation for what we understand from numerous trusted sources (to include the Virginia Department of Emergency Management), will be a significant weather event with high potential to impede travel and would likely be extremely taxing on our County staff to ready our numerous parking lots, sidewalks and facilities; and, in consideration of the Governor’s Declaration of Emergency (attached) and Pulaski County’s Declaration of Emergency (attached), I have made the determination to preemptively close Pulaski County offices on Monday, January 26, 2026.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, your department and your operations; however, employee safety remains a top priority and is the basis for this action. I thank you in advance for your understanding and your efforts to take any and all measures to reduce the impact to your department and customers/citizens you serve due to the closure. Lastly, I encourage everyone to be safe during this event and stay-tuned for any further announcements or instructions.
Thank you,
Jonathan
