Pulaski County places four on Class 4 First Team All-State team for Competition Cheerleading

VHSL Competition Cheer All-State teams were named this morning, according to Pulaski County High School Coach Roxanne H. Souma.

According to Souma, PCHS has four athletes that were named to the Class 4 First Team All-State:

Emma Helms

Kimberly Lyons

Destiny Alderman

Hayley Hodge

These four recognitions come on top of eight athletes being recognized to all region teams:

Class 4 Region D First Team All-Region:

Emma Helms

Kimberly Lyons

Destiny Alderman

Hayley Hodge

Olivia Viers

Class 4 Region D Second Team All-Region:

MaryBeth Taylor

Hailey Gravely

Caitlin Davis

In addition, Emma Helms was named 2019 Class 4 Region D Cheerleader of the Year. Souma  was named the Coach of the Year.

PCHS won the 2019 Class 4 Region D championship, repeating the success they experienced in 2018.
