Pulaski County schools closed Friday; COVID case confirmed at Snowville Elementary

Pulaski County Public Schools will be closed on Friday, November 13, 2020 due to flooding in the county.  (This closing will be a Code 1- Remote Learning Day.  Assignments will be sent to students through Canvas or e-mailed to parents by 11:00 a.m.)  Please contact your child’s principal if you have any questions or issues with receiving the assignments.

Pulaski County Public Schools has confirmed one positive Covid diagnosis of an employee at Snowville Elementary School.  The last day that this individual was present was Monday, November 9, 2020.  It has been determined that proper mitigation strategies were followed in the areas where the employee was present.  The school has been thoroughly cleaned.  PCPS will continue to work with the New River Health District throughout their processes for investigating and conducting contact tracing for positive cases.
