Pulaski County’s Teacher of the Year for 2018

Congratulations to Michelle “Shelly Bird”,our 2017-2018 School Division Teacher of the Year. This lady is one of the finest educators with whom any of us will ever have the opportunity to work. She is beloved by her students, their parents, and her co-workers. Her efforts in the classroom this year were marked by a display of grit, determination, and courage that is usually reserved for battlefields. Over the years, she has inspired thousands of students and positively impacted tens of thousands of lives. We have many great teachers in Pulaski County and there is no doubt that Mrs. Michelle “Shelley” Bird is one of the greatest of them all.
