Pulaski Elks, libraries make copies of Declaration of Independence, Constitution available

7 3 Elks copies“Sharing History is a Elk Tradition”

Approximately 30 days ago the Pulaski Lodge #1067 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, presented local Libraries of the county with pamphlet-sized copies of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

The Pulaski Lodge took on the project in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary to promote the steadfastness of our founding and foresight of our founding fathers.

David Boyd, Lodge Exalted Ruler, thanks the Hillsdale College of Michigan who supported and partnered in this mission.  The Lodge is indebted to the Pulaski County Library managers and staff for their help in the distribution.

All citizens are encouraged by the Lodge to utilize our local library for both knowledge and entertainment.  The library is most valuable to our bevy of homeschooled students and new residents of Pulaski.
