Pulaski man arrested after Sunday incident

On Sunday April 14, 2019, at approximately 8:35 AM, the Pulaski Police Department responded to 1006 E. Main St. in reference to an individual that damaged property, causing injury to staff, and left the scene.

Officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle but were unsuccessful.
It was reported that two individuals were asked to leave, as the business was closing for the day. Although irrate, one of the subjects complied and left the business. The other individual remained inside.
He then struck the reception window with his hand, shattering the glass onto an employee, thus causing injuries. He then left the scene with the other individual.
The employee was transported to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Upon further investigation, the suspect was identified. Jonathan Charles McKinney, 28, of Pulaski was charged with the following: felony malicious wounding, property damage, and disorderly conduct.
He later turned himself in without incident, and was committed to New River Valley Regional Jail and held without bond.

How come you didn't mention the name of the business or what they do, it's a methadone clinic and y'all know that, or the fact that he came thru the glass and attacked the employee, not just broke the glass
Good question for the Pulaski P.D. We just posted what they sent to us. Hadn't had a chance to track down what business it was from the address.
Why wasn't the employee taken to Lewis Gale Pulaski Hospital?
This isn't surprising at all, it was only a matter of time. Unfortunately a lot clients have a hard time understanding closing times and think that the hours should be when they want to come, not what is posted. It's very sad that this employee was attacked, and even sadder
