Pulaski man charged in stabbing incident
On June 26, 2019, at approximately 6:32 PM, the Pulaski Police Department responded to building 200 at Meadowview Apartments, in reference to a stabbing that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers encountered the victim with multiple stab wounds, and immediately administered first aid with the use of a tourniquet and applied pressure, until the arrival of EMS. The victim was transported to LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski and later transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers.
Shortly after, he was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle crash in Pulaski County, and subsequently encountered by Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office in the 4000 block of Cleburne Blvd. He was also transported to LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski, later transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and listed as in stable condition.
The investigation is still ongoing, however, Chris Dominic Ace, 22 of Pulaski, has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
