Pulaski P.D. awarded grant to purchase new body worn cameras

The Pulaski Police Department, in partnership with the Radford Police Department, has been awarded a total of $42,927 in grant funding to purchase new body worn cameras for sworn members of these agencies.  The U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, solicited law enforcement agencies nationwide for project proposals and the application submitted on our behalf was one of those chosen to receive funding.  The award also requires local in-kind and cash matches from each department as well as other detailed administrative requirements.
