Pulaski Police apprehend man wanted for murder in Florida

November 6, 2018, the Pulaski Police Department received information originating from the U. S. Marshall’s Service that an individual wanted in a homicide case from Florida was living in the town.  This information was distributed to department personnel along with a detailed description and a photograph.

November 7^th at approximately 7:21 P.M., Officers T. A. Suydam and W. T. Carpenter arrived at Craig Street Apartments in response to a disturbance call.  While approaching the location, they noticed a citizen that matched a number of the characteristics that were noted in the information concerning the individual wanted in the Florida case.  Officer Carpenter continued into the complex to determine the nature of the disturbance while Officer Suydam remained with the person to comfirm the individual’s identity.

Corporal J. K. Day joined Officer Suydam at the scene to assist in confirming the identity of this individual.  The citizen at first provided information that was determined to be false.  Investigating further, it was confirmed that the person was the suspect in the Florida homicide case.

The officers arrested Travis S. Bradley, 22 years of age, of Cocoa, Florida.  The alleged offenses for Mr. Bradley include First Degree Felony Murder, Attempted Robbery with a Firearm While Inflicting Death, Second Degree Felony Murder with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Grand Theft.  He is being held at the New River Regional Jail awaiting extradition to Florida.
