Pulaski River Turtles wins contest against Danville Otterbots on Sunday, 4-2
Pulaski River Turtles got things moving in the second inning. Ryan Johnson doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Carter Lyles pitched Pulaski River Turtles to victory. Lyles allowed two hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Carter Holjes took the loss for Danville Otterbots. The righty went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out four and walking one.
Lucas Reed started the game for Pulaski River Turtles. The righty lasted four and a third innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out five
Jackson Beaman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Pulaski River Turtles in hits.
Talmadge LeCroy led Danville Otterbots with two hits in three at bats.

We had the opportunity to go last night for the first time this season .Question :Are all Appalachian League games this season only 7 innings ?.I got up to do the 7th inning strech and everybody left lol .Enjoyed the game ,a big crowd was there . Of course being over 65 I got in free .sam
