Pulaski River Turtles Defeats Resilient Bluefield Ridge Runners

Bluefield Ridge Runners fought back after falling down by seven runs in the seventh inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 12-11 defeat to Pulaski River Turtles on Sunday. Bluefield Ridge Runners scored six runs in the failed comeback on a grand slam by Joshuan Sandoval and a single by Brayden Jobert.

Bluefield Ridge Runners was right in it until Pulaski River Turtles homered in the sixth inning.

Pulaski River Turtles opened up scoring in the second inning. Mark Trotta grounded out, scoring one run.

Bluefield Ridge Runners evened things up at three in the bottom of the fourth inning. Bluefield Ridge Runners scored two runs when Tervell Johnson doubled.
