Pulaski River Turtles Defeats Resilient Bluefield Ridge Runners
Bluefield Ridge Runners fought back after falling down by seven runs in the seventh inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 12-11 defeat to Pulaski River Turtles on Sunday. Bluefield Ridge Runners scored six runs in the failed comeback on a grand slam by Joshuan Sandoval and a single by Brayden Jobert.
Nick Gorby was on the pitcher’s mound for Pulaski River Turtles. The southpaw allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Caleb Pittman recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Pulaski River Turtles.
