Pulaski walloped by Danville, 20-5

Danville used an eight-run outburst in the bottom of the first inning Monday night to wallop Pulaski, 20-5 in Appalachian League action.

The Otterbots scored their 20 runs on only 12 hits and were aided by five River Turtle errors in the game.

Pulaski on the other hand scored five runs on only five hits on the night.

The 6-22 River Turtles remain in Danville today for another game tonight.

No games will be played in the league Wednesday.

Pulaski returns to the friendly confines of Calfee Park on Thursday when they host East Division leading Burlington for the first of two games and the beginning of a homestand.

Pulaski currently trails Burlington by 13.5 games in the East Division.
