Pulaski Yankees to welcome 1,800 students to Calfee Park for Tuesday’s game

The Pulaski Yankees will welcome nearly 1,800 6th and 7th grade students to Motor Mile Field at Calfee Park tomorrow for the team’s first-ever Field Trip Day. The Yankees will host the Johnson City Cardinals at a special 11am start time.

“We can’t wait to have these students join us at Calfee Park tomorrow,” said Pulaski Yankees General Manager Betsy Haugh. “With the school year only a few days in, we know this is the first field trip of the year for these students and teachers, and we’re thrilled they’ll be spending it with us at the ballpark.”

Thanks to Shelor Motor Mile’s Growing the Future program, the field trip is free to students and their accompanying teachers and bus drivers, who will receive a complimentary bagged lunch in addition to free admission into the game.

Tuesday’s game is now sold out. After the Field Trip Day contest, the Yankees will begin a five-game road trip before returning to Calfee Park Monday, August 26.
