Radford opens hoops season with win over Christiansburg

Radford High School’s boys basketball team got its 2022-23 season off to a grand start Wednesday evening, beating Christiansburg at home, 58-37.
Radford was led by Gavin Cormany’s 27 points. Cormany went 6 of 10 from three-point range.
Elijah Kelly added seven points and eight rebounds.
Parker Prioleau chipped in six points, and made four steals in the game.
Radford (1-0) plays next on Dec. 16 at home against Pulaski County.
