Ratliffe Museum fence, brick garden damaged

It’s heartbreaking that the Ratcliffe Museum brick garden and fence, funded with donations from citizens who want to honor their loved ones, were damaged like this. So far, we assume it was caused by a hit and run truck driver, based on the tracks in the mud. Some bricks were knocked loose but not damaged and can be reinstalled. The fence, unfortunately, will need extensive repairs which will be completed as soon as possible.

From a Jan. 7, 2019 Facebook post by Kathy Bopp who, along with her husband Charlie Bopp, were instrumental in establishment of the brick garden along with the Board of Directors for “The Ratcliffe.”
