Reader: Route 11 has been re-opened after tree falls on moving car; no injuries

Route 11 near Cougar Express has re-opened after being closed earlier apparently due to a tree falling on a moving car in the area.

A Patriot reader reported that – as of 8:03 p.m. – “Route 11 southbound is closed at the Thornspring intersection. Looks possibly flooding related. We were redirected by emergency responders to turn around.”

Another reader moments later responded they had heard that a tree had fallen on a moving car in the area of the trailer park near the intersection. Other readers also reported the same.

A reader reports that no one was injured in the car.
