Rex Stephen Quesenberry

Rex Stephen Quesenberry, age 80 of Pulaski, died Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the Sheila Strauss Hospice House in Roanoke.  He was born in Pulaski on March 24, 1946, and was the son of the late Geneva Emma Funk Quesenberry and the late James Stephen Quesenberry.  Rex retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.  He and his wife attended the New River Baptist Church. Rex was an avid hunter and fisherman.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Quesenberry:  and sisters; Pauline Lyons, Mildred Webb, and Joyce Ann Olinger.  He is survived by his wife; Deborah Ruth Lawson Quesenberry:  sons; Brian (Anne) Quesenberry, and Shaun Quesenberry:  and his remaining sister; Naomi Whitaker:  Grandchildren; McKenzie, Chloe, Alex, Hannah, Dakota, Jaylin, Logan, Ashley and Matthew:  Great Grandchildren;  Maddox, Jonah, Carl, Rylieh, Kyleigh, and Emma.

 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home 415 N. Jefferson Ave. Pulaski, Va. 24301 with Pastor Gary Stike officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
