River Turtles win first of season, 9-5 over Johnson City

Pulaski explodes for five runs in the top of the sixth inning to power the River Turtles to a  9-5  win over Johnson City – their first of the 2022 Appalachian League season.

Both teams came into Saturday’s contest in Tennessee winless so far in the young season, and the Doughboys will stay that way for now.

The two teams do battle again Sunday in Johnson City.
