Robert Eugene Brickey

Robert Eugene Brickey, age 95 of Dublin passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born September 19, 1931 in North Holston, Virginia he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Brickey & Emma Sue Carter Brickey.

 

Robert was also preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Terri Yvonne Brantley; brother Glenn Brickey and sisters Edith Corbett and Dorothy Harrell.

 

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Son – Robin Wesley Brickey

 

Grandson – Wesley Dale Brickey

 

Like a Grandson – Kyle Cook

 

Great Grandchildren – Cameron and Madison Brickey

 

Brother – Tommie Brickey

 

Sisters – Helen Manning, Jane Newman

 

Daughter-in-law – Kathy Christian

 

Former Son-in-law – Rev. Mark Brantley – Istanbul, Turkey

 

Special Friends – Barry Christian, Charlotte Jewell and Amanda Seagle

 

 

Per Robert’s request there will be no public services at this time. He will be laid to rest at the Southwest Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery in Dublin, Virginia.
