Roy W. Bowden Sr.

Roy W. Bowden Sr., age 71 of Dublin, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Roy was born to the late James and Evelyn Bowden. Along with his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his brothers, James “Jimmy” Bowden and David Bowden, sisters, Ruth Oliver and Mary Petrey, and grandson, Liam Bowden.

 

Roy was the beloved husband and caretaker to his wife of 42 years, Joy Bowden.

Roy never met a stranger and brought laughter wherever he went, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Funeral Services for Roy will be held 2:00 PM – Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel – Pulaski with Pastor Mary Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper.

 

The family will receive friends one hour before service time Friday at the Funeral Home.
